Youthvent Gate Checker is operated by Youthvent. This policy explains how information is handled when authorized event staff use the Gate App or its web version.
Information We Collect
We may collect:
Staff name, email, phone number, role and assigned events or gates.
Login and session information.
Ticket codes, QR scan results, event, gate, scan time and check-in status.
Attendee details required for ticket search and verification.
Device, app version, IP address, diagnostic and security information.
Camera access for scanning QR codes.
The camera is used only to scan tickets. The Gate App does not intentionally save photos or videos.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
Authenticate authorized staff.
Display assigned events and gates.
Validate tickets and prevent duplicate entry.
Record QR and manual check-ins.
Display attendance progress.
Maintain security and operational records.
Notify customers when their tickets are checked in.
Information Sharing
Limited ticket and attendee information may be accessible to authorized event organizers, gate staff and technical service providers. Information may also be disclosed where legally required.
Youthvent does not sell personal information or use Gate App data for third-party advertising.
Data Security and Retention
Youthvent uses authentication, access controls and encrypted connections to protect information.
Check-in and audit records are retained only as needed for event operations, support, security, disputes and legal obligations. Eligible information may later be deleted or anonymized.
Staff Responsibilities
Authorized staff must protect their login credentials, use customer information only for event entry and immediately report lost devices or unauthorized access.
Your Rights and Account Deletion
You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information by contacting Youthvent from your registered email address.
Some security, check-in, audit or legally required records may need to be retained.
Third-Party Services
The Gate App may use cloud hosting, Firebase, email, Apple and Google platform services where required to operate the application.
Children’s Privacy
The Gate App is intended only for authorized event staff and is not directed to children.
Policy Updates
Youthvent may update this policy when its services or legal requirements change. The latest version will display the revised update date.
